This series will include books in the emerging area of global radiation oncology. Stemming from the published book by the series editor entitled Emerging Models for Global Health in Radiation Oncology, it will further detail the work being done globally to promote cancer research and awareness, particularly in lower income countries.
Authors are encouraged to take advantage of electronic publication through the use of colour, animations, video and incorporating supplementary files to enhance the reader experience.
Wilfred Ngwa Dana Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and University iof Massachusetts, USA
Wilfred Ngwa is the Director of the Global Health Catalyst program at Dana Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and a professor of radiation oncology and faculty medical physicist at Harvard Medical School and the University of Massachusetts. He also currently holds an international guest professorship at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. He has published two books and won a number of awards and prizes, including the 2015 BRIght Futures Prize for innovative new technology designed for use during radiotherapy to kill cancer cells that have spread to other parts of the body.
