Energy Harvesting Properties of Electrospun Nanofibers

Professor Tong Lin, Dr Jian Fang

Description

This book provides a state-of-the-art review of the applications of electrospun nanofibers for piezoelectric and triboelectric energy harvesting. It comprises eight chapters and covers the basis of electrospinning, nanofibers, piezoelectricity, triboelectricity and the emerging research on the use of nanofibers in energy harvesting devices. It is a key reference for graduate students, researchers and scientists in the fields of energy harvesting, sensors or nanofibers, and it will benefit industry specialists involved with energy materials and energy conversion technology.

About Editors

Jian Fang is a professor at the College of Textile and Clothing Engineering, Soochow University China. His research focuses on functional fibrous materials for energy storage and harvesting device, biosensing and environment protection applications.

Tong Lin, Personal Chair of Deakin University and FRSC UK, is an active researcher who contributes to the development of needleless electrospinning for large-scale production of nanofibers and novel applications of electrospun nanofibers.
