Bismuth-Based Materials for Environmental Remediation

Prof. Arpan Kumar Nayak

Description

This book will discuss in depth Bismuth series-based catalysts for wastewater treatment. The book includes a general introduction, fundamental aspects, basic principles of environmental remediation techniques, and synthesis methods of Bismuth series-based materials. The book also includes the Bismuth oxyhalides, bismuth oxides, BiaAOb, defects in bismuth series, facets dependent bismuth series, and bismuth series composites based nanostructured materials synthesis and their utilisation towards environmental remediation. The book describes both the current scenario and future scope of bismuth series towards environmental remediation.

This book is aimed at Researchers/Academician from various disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Energy Engineering, in the particular context of energy and environmental applications.

Key Features

  • Covers all the recent developments of Bismuth series based nanostructured catalysts.

  • Clearly demonstrates the fundamental understanding of the mechanism of photocatalysis for wastewater treatments and the controlled synthesis of Bismuth series nanostructured materials.

  • Contains contributions from leading international experts in the field working on Bismuth series-based nanomaterials for environmental remediation.
